Write down 10 things you are grateful for every night, do not repeat anything on your list. To really expand your mind, do 20 per night.
See everyone as your mirror. If something about another person bothers you or gets you angry, ask yourself, “What is it about that person that is also in me?
Everyday give at least one compliment to someone - even someone who rubs you the wrong way.
Practice random acts of kindness everywhere for anyone.
When someone starts saying something bad about someone, do not enter into the conversation. If they ask you what you think just politely say you really don’t have a comment, or that you feel uncomfortable talking about someone who is not here.
Pick something you’ve been meaning to do or something that has been on your to do list forever and actually do it this week. Next week, do something you have been dreading and finally cross it off your 'to-do' list.
Take a class or go to events that can expand your spiritual awareness. Take a yoga class and if you already do then try out a different system. Listen to an author speak on spiritual topics, go to a wellness expo, find a group that night hikes. Do something different and meet new people. Get out of your day-to-day rut and open up to your creativity. Have fun with this!
Make a list of 5 things you can do to have a quiet peaceful moment. For example: work in your garden, meditate, take a walk and tune in to nature. After you have made this list take one everyday and follow it.
